D’Arcy Vicknair is happy to announce the hiring of new associate attorney, Alec W. Szczechowski. Prior to joining the firm, Alec focused on employment discrimination law and intellectual property law, and is a nationally registered patent attorney. With his background in engineering and his litigation experience, Alec is yet another great addition to our team.
D’Arcy Vicknair founding partner, Andrew Vicknair, will be presenting a seminar, “Construction Licensing” at the upcoming Louisiana State Bar Association’s Construction Law From the Ground Up Program on March 22, 2023.
This program will take attendees through all phases of Louisiana construction law. The program will be presented by an excellent collection of seasoned construction attorneys representing owners, developers, public entities, general contractors, insurers and sureties in all aspects of construction from the initial needs and negotiation through enforcement of rights in the event of disputes.

Having worked in the construction industry prior to law school, Kelli has both the practical and the educational background necessary to provide the best possible representation to all aspects of our construction industry clients. All of us at D’Arcy Vicknair are excited to see what Kelli brings to the team.
As our one year anniversary approaches, all of us at D’Arcy Vicknair are grateful to have had a successful first year, and we are excited for the future. In under a year, we have been blessed to see the firm grow. And as the firm grows, so must the office space. D’Arcy Vicknair is delighted to share some pictures of the literal expansion of the firm, as our contractors have broken down a wall to give us more office space.

As a recent Tulane Law School graduate, Jordan is familiar to most of the attorneys and staff at D’Arcy Vicknair, as he worked with them during his law school internship. At D’Arcy Vicknair, Jordan will focus on commercial civil litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of construction and suretyship.

D’Arcy Vicknair is delighted to announce that associate Christopher D. Joseph, Jr. has been selected to the American Bar Association’s (“ABA”) Young Lawyers Division (“YLD”) Leadership Academy. The YLD Leadership Academy is a two-year leadership training program that, among other things, provides its members with opportunities to serve on YLD boards and prepares young attorneys for leadership roles with the ABA.
