In July, 2025, Adrian D’Arcy, along with friends Dennis O Neill and Kieran O’ Connor from Beacon Consulting and Jim Hammel from Zurich, brought friends and colleagues to Ireland to join or support the “Spokes for Hope” group cycling in the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, 2025.
This year, the “Spokes for Hope” team consisted of folks from all across the United States, as well as local Ireland cyclists. 22 cyclists, along with many supportive family members and friends traveled to Ireland for a weekend of kayaking, falconing, and much revelry before taking on the over 100 mile Cycle.
Riding on behalf of Breakthrough Cancer Research, Spokes for Hope raised an incredible total of £21,208!
The event is great —not just for the scenery and achievement, but for the spirit of kindness and unity it represents. And as the wheels keep turning, so too does the positive impact it makes—one mile, one charity, and one rider at a time.
Adrian, Dennis, and Jim look forward to gathering more friends and colleagues to participate and to raise even more money in 2027!
