William D. Mumfrey

William Mumfrey’s primary practice areas include construction litigation and surety litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to joining D’Arcy Vicknair, William worked on bankruptcy and estate planning matters.

William earned his juris doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in May of 2023. While in law school, he became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Louisiana. He also interned for the Honorable Edwin Lombard, Judge for the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal of Louisiana.

Prior to law school, William was an auditor for Postlethwaite & Netterville serving clients in a wide range of industries.

William graduated magnum cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans in May of 2018, earning a bachelor of science in Accounting and Finance.

When William isn’t working, he enjoys walking Audubon Park with his wife, Kailey, and puppy, Lula.
