Benjamin Sposito’s primary practice areas include construction litigation, surety litigation, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining D’Arcy Vicknair, Benjamin represented plaintiffs in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including automobile and commercial transportation accidents, premises liability claims, insurance coverage and bad-faith disputes, professional liability matters, and other complex personal injury and tort claims.
Benjamin earned his juris doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, along with a Certificate in Law, Technology & Entrepreneurship. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was a member of other law societies. His scholarship includes publications addressing maritime law as well as the intersection of patent law and space law.
Prior to law school, Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University. His scientific background provides him with a distinct analytical perspective that he brings to complex legal and technical issues.
