Lauren Marquette’s primary practice areas include construction litigation and surety litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to joining D’Arcy Vicknair, she practiced law for over a decade on matters including general litigation, commercial contracts and business transactions, estate planning, succession disputes, and family law.
After earning her B.S. in marketing from Louisiana State University and her M.B.A. from the University of New Orleans, Lauren received her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 2012. Early in her career, Lauren served as a judicial law clerk to Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Wilkinson, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and later served as an assistant district attorney before moving into private practice.
